Menakao contributed to an agroforestry reforestation project in the Diana region, where cocoa was the main species planted. This project was launched to support local producers, offer them a more stable and resilient source of income in the face of the impacts of climate change. Diana is a region affected by deforestation and soil degradation, but also a place with great potential for cocoa cultivation. This project aims to restore soils, improve biodiversity, and help producers diversify their incomes while responding to climate challenges. With this initiative, Menakao is helping to transform Diana into a sustainable agricultural model, while supporting local communities in adapting to new environmental realities.
