Bôndy has launched an ambitious solar street lighting project in Melaky, aimed at transforming the daily lives of local communities through “sustainable solar energy”. Created in 2020 and officially recognized by the State in 2021, the Bôndy Green Army is an initiative that brings together volunteers around the ecological missions of Bôndy. This dynamic organization currently has 150 active members and plays a key role in raising awareness among new generations about climate issues and the preservation of biodiversity.

On October 17 and 18, the Vondron'Olona Ifotony (VOI) brought together local conservation actors in Nosy-Be, in the DIANA region. Nearly 500 participants were present to celebrate communities that, despite numerous challenges, are dedicated to the sustainable management of natural resources. Bôndy International, accompanied by twelve VOI and a staff member, took part in this edition to reaffirm its support for local initiatives and promote environmental resilience.
