Bombetoka Bay is one of the most changing coastlines in the world. Nearly a century of intensive logging of tropical forests and coastal mangroves has resulted in almost complete land clearance and more than alarming rates of erosion.

Our actions in the field

Bôndy's mission is to promote the sustainable planting of mangroves, in close collaboration with local communities. This project aims to establish new cooperatives in several villages, by setting up viable and environmentally friendly initiatives.
