Sava

Reduce the rate of deforestation by integrating agroforestry into the farming system of peasants and by mobilizing them on community reforestation.
Regarding
The Sava region covers the largest set of humid forests in Madagascar, home to major national parks such as Masoala Park, Marojejy Park and the Anjanaharibe Sud Special Reserve. Cash crops require specific climatic conditions that are directly linked to forests. However, deforestation weakens the forest ecosystem and impacts on ecosystem goods and services.
